Summer Tournament - 27th & 28th June 2020.

It is with great pleasure that I am inviting you to our Summer Football Tournament which is to be held over the weekend of the 27th and 28th June 2020.

Once again it will be held at Cupids Country Club, Cupids Chase, Great Wakering, Essex, SS3 0AX, the home of the Colts.

We will have 6 pitches operating over the weekend, with 24 sessions hosting 120 teams across the age groups.

This is an F.A Affiliated Tournament (VL00228) and the 2020/2021 age groups will apply.

Registration for morning sessions will be 8.30 a.m. with the first games kicking off at 9.00 a.m.

Registration for afternoon sessions will be 1.00 p.m. with the first games kicking off at 1.30 p.m.

U7 and U8 age groups will participate in an exhibition only event with all players receiving a medal for taking part.

U9 and above will compete in a competitive event with a league structure with the top team from each league being presented with a trophy and medals for all first and second place teams from each age group.

All teams will play 4 x 17 minute games and the entry fee for all teams will be £50.00.

Maximum players per team will be

  • U7 and U8 ( 5 a side ) 10 players per team

  • U9 and U10 (7 a side ) 12 players per team

  • U11 and U12 (9 a side ) 14 players per team

  • U13 and U14 (11 a side ) 17 players per team

At Cupids we will have a BBQ, licensed bar with hot and cold drinks available and an ice cream van (weather permitting).

Parking for the tournament will be offsite and located just past the entrance to Cupids in a field on the left-hand side of the road.

As per all previous tournaments there will be a £2.00 parking fee payable on the day.

Cupids Country Club car park will be closed for the tournament and only accessible to blue badge holders or by prior arrangement. The parking fee will also apply.

Once again please remember that 2020/2021 age groups ( i.e. next season ) will apply on your application forms !
